About Lee Lai
Lee Lai
Lee Lai is a transsexual Asian-Australian cartoonist. She is from Naarm/Melbourne and currently lives in Tio’htia/Montréal. Her debut “Steinfrucht”, published by Avant Verlag, won two Ignatz Awards and a Lambda Literary Award and was nominated for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. For “Steinfrucht”, Lee Lai was also named one of the National Book Foundation’s “5 Under 35”.
