Artist Talk on Comic-Making
Does a comic come from inspiration—or from persistence? In 2025, Hamburg comic artists Magdalena Kaszuba, Moritz Wienert, and Wiebke Bolduan each received a literature and comics grant from the Behörde für Kultur und Medien Hamburg. This evening, they will talk about their current projects and join professor and comic artist Marijpol to discuss how they develop, organise, and complete their comics.

Wiebke Bolduan is a comic artist and illustrator based in Hamburg. Following their debut graphic novel “Viktoria Aal” in 2024, Wiebke’s second graphic novel, “Planet Elmar”, was published by Reprodukt in May 2026.
