“The Gutter” Comic Library

During the weekend of the Comic Festival, the Hamburg Comic Library will open its doors in the Gängeviertel. “The Gutter” is part of Comicfestival Hamburg e.V. and makes comics available free of charge to anyone interested. Over the course of seven and a half years, the collection—built up through donations—has grown to over 2,200 volumes and offers a cross-section of diverse eras, styles, and formats. The comic library is regularly open every third Sunday of the month from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
