"Comic Cathedral"

How did people tell stories through images before comics existed? In this workshop, we explore the connection between comics and Orthodox icon painting, an ancient religious visual tradition with its own motifs and rules. After a short introduction, we will create our own icons using crepe paper and other materials. Join us as we take a fresh look at this early form of visual storytelling.

The workshop will be held in German.

No previous experience required. Participation is open to anyone aged 16 and over. Registration is required by 2nd October 2026 at the latest.
