Nika, Lotte, Mangold! (Schaufensteraustellung)

In the Dachshund Valley, the setting of the comic series about friends Nika, Lotte, and Mangold, no two days are alike. Just in time for the comic festival and as colorful as ever, the latest volume of the series is being published. In „Voll dabei!“, Mangold sleeps through her alarm clock one morning—and her messy hair causes plenty of amusement at school. During a lesson on dinosaurs, Lotte unexpectedly reaches her limits. And when Nika tells a scary story while camping, things take a spooky turn.
Strips & Stories, in cooperation with Rotopol, presents an excerpt from the new volume „Nika, Lotte Mangold! Voll dabei!“ by Thomas Wellmann. In their longest adventure so far, a storm sweeps across Dachshund Valley, thoroughly shaking up the world of the three friends.
The exhibition ends on Monday, October 6, 2025.

About Thomas Wellmann
Thomas Wellmann has been working as a freelance cartoonist since completing his studies in communication design at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. He creates backgrounds, characters, and storyboards for animated series such as „Clarence“, „Adventure Time“, „Summer Camp Island“, and „The Fungies“. In addition, he writes and draws his own comics and occasionally develops video games with friends, such as „Miracle Merchant“. He lives with his family in a small house near Münster.
