The exhibition presents works by the Cheezy Dream collective from Marseille, made up of artists Flore Balas, Louka Butzbach, Paul Descamps, and Anaïs Sière. While comics are at the heart of their work, their artistic practice extends far beyond the medium of the book — the exhibition brings together their projects in painting, ceramics, textile art, and music in one transdisciplinary show.

  • About Flore Balas, Louka Butzbach, Paul Descamps, Anaïs Sière

    Flore Balas, Louka Butzbach, Paul Descamps, and Anaïs Sière met in the 2010s while studying illustration in Strasbourg and now live in Marseille. Alongside their individual artistic practices, they have gradually joined forces in various collective projects—for example, founding the publishing collectives „Art Majeur“ and „Fifilles“. They also took part in „Exposissimo“, a series of residencies and exhibitions held between 2021 and 2023 in Uzerche, Angoulême, and Leipzig. Last year, they wrote, directed, and performed „Cheezy Dream“, a five-episode web series.
