Barbora Müllerová, curator of the LUSTR illustration and comic festival in Prague, and David Schilter, editor and publisher of the Latvian magazine kuš!, have selected a unique range of works for “Scratchy Lines, Missing Bubbles.” The exhibition brings together artists who experiment with diverse forms of expression and genres within the medium of comics: fantasy, diary and reportage, mediation-oriented content, dreamlike or surreal narratives, horror, science fiction, queer graphic stories, sitcoms, and unclassifiable forms of visual poetry.

The opening reception is on Friday, October 3, 2025, starting at 9 p.m.

  • About LUSTR Festival

    The LUSTR Festival is the largest Czech festival dedicated to illustration and comics. Held every year at the end of September in the heart of Prague and attracting around 5,000 visitors, LUSTR offers a week of inspiring encounters with illustrators and comic artists from around the world, fostering knowledge-sharing, networking, and enthusiasm for the art form itself. In September 2025, the festival celebrated its 12th edition, with the main exhibition focusing on new forms of sensibility.
