For the festival weekend, Hamburg’s comic library „The Gutter“ opens its doors in the Gängeviertel. Part of the Comic Festival Hamburg e.V., it makes comics freely accessible to everyone interested. In just seven and a half years, the collection—built entirely through book donations—has grown to more than 2,200 titles, offering a cross-section of different eras, styles, and formats. The comic library is open every third Sunday of the month from 1 to 5 pm.
