Mein Monster und ich

In this workshop, children will explore fear and imagination in a creative way: they choose a monster they find scary, give it absurd or funny characteristics, and spin a short story from it. Perhaps they even imagine becoming friends with their friendly monster. The goal is to playfully reinterpret fears and transform them into something positive. Registration is open until 03.10.2025 via email (workshops@comicfestivalhamburg.de) with the subject line „Mein Monster und Ich“.

  • About Ayşe Klinge

    Ayşe Klinge is an illustrator and comic artist based in Hamburg. After studying stage design, the Berlin-born artist went on to study illustration at HAW Hamburg. Since 2019, she has been working as a freelance illustrator, mainly in the field of children’s books and children’s comics. In May 2025, her first long-form comic "Der Zahn" ("the tooth") was published by Kibitz Verlag.
