Institut français Hamburg
Internationaler Graphic Novel Salon
Since 2010, the cultural institutes united under EUNIC Hamburg—Instituto Cervantes, Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Goethe-Institut, and Institut français Hamburg—together with the Europe Direct Info-Point Europa, have been presenting the International Graphic Novel Salon. This year’s invited artists are: Italian author Sergio Ponchione with „Memorabilia“ (Avant-Verlag), French author David Prudhomme with „Rembetissa“ (Reprodukt), and Spanish author María Hesse, who will present her latest work „El miedo“ („Fear“) following her biographies of Frida Kahlo and Marilyn Monroe.
The event will be held in Spanish, Italian, and French, with translation into German.
After the program, there will be an opportunity to meet the guests over drinks and snacks, and to have books signed.
