Encounter with Colin Atthar

The foundation of the Institut français, called „Fondation 55“, has invited Colin Atthar to Hamburg for a residency this year. In 2023, the young artist published his book „Sur le bout des doigts“ with Ankama—a story shaped by personal experiences of coming out, homophobia, and discrimination, told with humor and self-irony. Colin Atthar is currently working on the graphic novel „Sex Friends“, due to be published in 2026, and during his stay in Hamburg he hopes to explore local specialties for a culinary project.
